Stanley GrovesFEASTFEAST On October 14th 2006, at Holmsleigh Nursing Home, Sidmouth, Stanley Groves, aged 76 years, following an illness borne with great dignity. Devoted husband of 56 years to Sylvia, loving dad to Julia, Richard and foster daughter Lesley. Father-in-law to Carolyn and Steve and dear grandad of Andrew, Tanya, Emma, Lara and Rebecca. Private committal at West Hill Church, followed by a celebration service of Stan's Life at Christ Church, Woodbury on Tuesday, October 24th at 3:00pm. No sombre clothes, all are welcome. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Parkinson's Disease Society, by cheque c/o E. Hansford and Son, 119 Cowick Street, St. Thomas, Exeter, EX4 1JD, or given by retiring collection.
